Nevsimal, age 94, of Naperville, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at home. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;He was born May 6, 1902, in Czechoslovakia. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;Mr. Nevsimal had worked at Kroehler Manufacturing Company and was a carpenter for many years. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;He was a 50-year member of Local 54 Carpenter&amp;#39;s Union, and a life member of the Moose Lodge. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;He was an avid gardener. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;Survivors include his wife, Johanna; daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. James) Toman of Naperville, and Anna (Mrs. Fred) Nickerson of Key Largo, Fla.; son, Richard (wife Phyllis) Nevsimal of Yorkville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Nevsimal of Arizona, Rudy (wife Eleanor) Nevsimal of North Riverside, and James (wife Lillian) Nevsimal of Westmont; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Hladik. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;There will be an hour visitation from 9-10 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 5) followed immediately by the funeral service, with Father Dennis Lewandowski officiating, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;Interment will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Naperville. &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor&amp;#39;s choice. &lt;/div&gt;</line></content></metadataxml>
