<metadataxml><content><line>LaCrosse Tribune Thursday February 5, 1914 pg. 6<br><br>Bangor Farmer Killed By Fall<br><br>Thomas Bina Falls Twenty Feet When Tree Branch Breaks Under Him<br><br>Thomas Bina, aged 60 years, a well known farmer of Bangor, was killed in a fall from a tree yesterday. He had climbed the tree to cut out a telephone wire, which had grown into it, and the limb on which he was standing broke, throwing him to the ground, twenty feet below. He was unconscious from the time of the accident until he died. The accident occurred shortly before noon yesterday.<br><br>Mr. Bina was a native of Bohemia coming to LaCrosse from the old country. He lived in this country for a number of years before moving to his farm near Bangor.<br><br>He is survived by six sons, Frank of LaCrosse, John of Minneapolis, and Thomas Jr., George, Joseph, and Wenzel of Bangor, and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Smith of St. Joseph Ridge, and Mary and Frances of Bangor.<br><br>The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 from the residence of the son, Frank Bina, 1421 South Tenth Street, and at 9 o&#39;clock from St. Wenceslaus church. Rev. J. Till officiating. Interment will be made in the Catholic Cemetery.<br>***********************************************************<br>LaCrosse Tribune Saturday February 7, 1914 pg. 6<br><br>Bangor Farmer Is Buried Today<br><br>The funeral of Thomas Bina, the Bangor farmer, who was killed in a fall from a tree Wednesday, was held this morning at 8:30 from the residence of his son Frank Bina, 1421 South Tenth Street, and at 9 o&#39;clock from St. Wenceslaus Church, Rev. J. Till officiating.
